Keep your book in a cool, dry environment. Room temperature of 70 degrees or below and humidity around 40%-50%. High humidity can increase the risk of book mold. Low humidity can cause the pages to be brittle and dry.
Keep books away from direct sunlight.
Dust your books and your bookshelves regularly.
Do not repair damaged covers or paper with pressure- sensitive tape (tape found at office supplies and drug stores). This type of repair can cause more damage over time. Instead use pH Neutral Adhesive, such as Lineco Neutral pH Adhesive (available on Amazon).
Although you may want to display your beautiful books outward on your shelves, this can lead to text block sagging and page spreading. It is best to keep your book on your bookshelf firmly between your other books.
Do not pull on the top of the spine when removing the book from your bookshelves. Instead, slide the book out from the sides and grasp the book from the middle of the spine.

I understand how disappointing it can be to receive damaged books! While I take immense pride in packing my books to the highest standards with multiple cushioning layers and sturdy boxes, damage can rarely occur during transit or customs checks.
Here’s what to keep in mind:
Minor Imperfections: Aside from the actual printing of the pages, my books are 100% handmade. It is normal for minor imperfections such as, imperfections in the vinyl design, slightly inconsistent overhang on the cover, small marks on the cover or end pages, differences in hues of the printed cover design, slight lifting of the end band, etc. We kindly ask you to consider these as part of the unique, handcrafted nature of the books.
Significant Damage: If the damage is significant, such as ripped pages, a detached cover, or extensive warping, please contact me!

Custom commissions are currently closed until further notice. I will make a listing for commissions on the Shop tab when they become available again. Commission slots are extremely limited and entirely dependent on how busy I am at the time. I will make an announcement on Instagram when commissions are reopened.
My current expectation for accepting new commissions is Summer of 2026.
